The first will publish in May 2019:

Twelve years ago, Leona left her life behind. She saved her family from a terrible secret, now they’re safe from what she saw, and the one person who could take everything away. But she lied to her daughter, Beth. She lies to her every day. When a stranger arrives in the village Leona knows what to do for the sake of her family. She must face up to her past, and she prepares to tell her story. About a woman called Ria. And a little girl called Lily. But Leona’s lies have already put them in danger…

The second standalone thriller will follow later in the year.

Jennifer Hunt said,

Wendy’s writing is unputdownable. Just the first chapter of her first novel won her the Flash500 competition, because it’s a work of genius, but the judges didn’t even get to read the stunning twist it features half-way through or its jaw-dropping ending. Wendy is the sort of writer you wish you could find and I’m so thrilled to be working with her.

Wendy added,

Every author dreams of finding a publisher who feels as passionately about their novel as they do. That dream came true when Jennifer contacted me, a few days after I submitted my manuscript, to tell me she’d liked it so much she’d read it twice! I’m delighted to be joining a dynamic company and working with such a forward-looking and supportive team.
