We are over the moon to share more great news with you today!
Publisher Claire Bord has acquired World All Languages including Audio and Film and TV rights in a new book from bestselling author Laura Elliot. Laura’s novels with Bookouture, including The Betrayal, Guilty and most recently The Wife Before Me have all hit the UK and US Kindle bestseller lists and collectively sold over 400,000 copies to date.
Claire Bord said of the new deal,
Laura was one of the first authors I signed for Bookouture when I joined the company four years ago and in that time, she has established a rapidly growing global readership for her incredible novels. Laura is an extraordinary storyteller, writing distinctive psychological thrillers with memorable characters that stay with you long after you’ve read the last page. She also handles emotional subjects with great sensitivity and this has struck a chord with readers.
When Claire asked me to write for Bookouture, I had no idea it would open my books up to such an extensive new readership,’ said Laura. ‘Working with her has been a wonderful editorial experience and being with Bookouture has allowed me to interact with my readers in ways I had not previously experienced. I’ve loved being part of the company’s success and engaging with such a friendly and supportive team.
Laura’s new novel, due to be published in Summer 2019, tells the story of a young woman who discovers a diary that once belonged to her mother, Marianne. In it is a heart-breaking account of Marianne’s time in an Irish Mother and Baby home, pregnant with Adele and keeping a shocking secret.
