Kate Hewitt hits phenomenal one million copies milestone

We are delighted to announce that we have sold over ONE MILLION COPIES of Kate Hewitt’s novels since we published A Mother’s Goodbye in 2018.

Over the last five years, we have published 28 titles from Kate Hewitt, in both women’s fiction and historical fiction genres, including her Amherst Island, Goswell Quartet and Far Horizon series. We have published one of Kate’s novels in a German translation edition, and have sold rights to her books in six languages. This year, we are thrilled to agree a new contract with Kate for another five books.

Kate Hewitt says,

‘I’m so thrilled to have reached this milestone with Bookouture. It’s been a wonderful journey, getting to this point, and I am incredibly grateful for all the ways the team at Bookouture has supported by books, from editorial to marketing and publicity to foreign translations. Looking forward to foreign translations. Looking forward to the next new and exciting chapter of publishing with them!’

Jess Whitlum-Cooper says,

‘I am over the moon to see Kate hit this phenomenal milestone – 1 million copies sold in five years is such an enormous achievement! I have long been a fan of Kate’s writing, and it is a dream come true to now be her editor, and to have the chance to work with her on her brilliant novels. And I am over the moon to be bringing even more of her books to her huge numbers of fans around the world in the years ahead.’
