There are some books that just make everything seem right with the world.  For us Coming Home for Christmas by Jenny Hale is one of those – as we read the manuscript we were blown away by a beautifully observed and heart-warming story.

After flipping a coin (how all great decisions are made), Allie Richfield accepts a job as House Manager at the multi-million dollar Ashford Estate. Little does she realise quite how dysfunctional the families of the super-rich can be…

With all the family coming home for Christmas for one last time before the estate is sold, it’s up to Allie to make sure everything runs smoothly… at the same time as trying to find some direction in her own life.

The story made us both laugh and cry (always a good sign) and we’re massively excited that Jenny has agreed a two book contract with Bookouture and that Coming Home for Christmas will be published in September this year.

Jenny lives in the U.S where, when she’s not writing, she teaches English as a second language and is mother of two boys, one Chihuahua and on Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix. Managing all of that necessitates large servings of coffee and the encouragement of a very supportive husband.
