But when Gemma’s housemate is found murdered, Natalie thinks the killer could still be at large. Story is decent but narrator sounds too old
Narrators voice throes of the story because it is a very old sounding voice. Story itself is okay, slowly becomes better

Once again i have been mesmerised by this series, the plot with its twists and turns entwined with the back story of the main characters equally as enthralling, superb listen

At time of listening, last in series
I’ve largely enjoyed this series. It’s interesting, entertaining and not too taxing if you’re multitasking!
While the characters have developed well and the narrator is mostly pleasing to listen to, some of the characters alter the way they are portrayed in the writing, especially Mike, that I find jarring as I think it makes him one dimensional.
I really don’t like David and it hasn’t taken me up to this book to realise that. I wasn’t really keen on Natalie either to be honest but I think in this book she’s much more human and relatable.
I don’t understand their relationship, I cannot see why they were ever together. Maybe it was spelt out in the first book and I’ve forgotten it but from the second book on they claim to love each other but they don’t appear to like or respect each other. So that too is a little distracting. Enjoyable though.
I do like the fact that the each book is set soon after the previous one.
