About this ebook

Gifted criminal profiler Nathan Radley has a unique way of thinking that allows him to empathize with the twisted killers he helps capture.

But Nathan a dark secret. He has more in common with the criminals he hunts than anyone could dare to imagine. He lives in constant fear of losing control of his own dark desires...

When the headless body of a policeman is dragged from the Thames – an exact enactment of one of his oldest and darkest fantasies, only ever confessed in the pages of his teenage diary – Nathan finds himself the main suspect in the most twisted case of his career.

Someone has his diary and is leaking pages to frame him for the disturbing murders he has spent his whole career trying not to commit.

As more bodies surface and more extracts are released, Nathan has no choice but to go in search of the killer to clear his name. He knows it’s someone dangerous, he knows it’s someone he trusted, but how many precious lives will be lost before he can work out who?

A nail-biting and unputdownable thriller that fans of Peter James, Angela Marsons and Rachel Abbott will adore

It all began with DARK LIES. Nathan Radley is one of the best criminal psychiatrists on the police force ... or at least, he was. The latest case that he and Katie Rhodes worked sent them both over the edge. They took off, found a remote location, threw the phones and television and radio in the garbage and have been trying to heal. Another death has brought them back. A senior police official, mentor to Katie, is found floating face down in the Thames. His killing is very much like the last case they had worked. Nathan becomes the prime suspect, although he was miles and miles away and constantly in the company of Katie. Old diary pages ... written by Nathan many years ago ... begin showing up .. detailing the murder exactly. Their investigation into this murder leads them both to question how they feel .. about their working relationship ..and their working together. Katie is known for gathering evidence and her logical deduction, while Radley is known for his gift of climbing into a killer's mind. And the closer they get to the killer, the more danger they face. Suspects abound .. someone close to the investigation? A previous killer who miraculously disappeared? or is it actually Nathan? To get the whole story, I highly recommend starting with DARK LIES. You won't be disappointed! Many thanks to the author / Bookouture / Netgalley for the advanced digital copy of this crime thriller. It was a pleasure to read.
