About this ebook

I was gripped from the first few pages and found myself hooked on a rollercoaster ride up to the last few pages … I read it in pretty much one sitting, I just needed to know how the book was going to end’ Donna’s Book Blog

It begins with a phone call. It ends with a missing child.

On a warm summer’s morning, thirteen-year-old school girl Constance Lawson is reported missing.

A few days later, Constance’s uncle, Karl Lawson, suddenly finds himself swept up in a media frenzy created by journalist Amanda Bowe implying that he is the prime suspect.

Six years later …

Karl’s life is in ruins. His marriage is over, his family destroyed. But the woman who took everything away from him is thriving. With a successful career, husband and a gorgeous baby boy, Amanda’s world is complete. Until the day she receives a phone call and in a heartbeat, she is plunged into every mother’s worst nightmare.

An utterly compelling psychological thriller that will keep you guessing to the very last page. Perfect for fans of The Girl on the TrainGone Girl and Sarah A. Denzil’s Silent Child.

stupid witch Amanda typical of the idiotic self righteous "media" of today who can destroy an innocent person bec himan sheep believe what they read without using their brain cells. I almost wish he had never returned her son to her .I quit reading bec I wanted to punch her in the face ...and I also had enough of women blaming men for everything .and yes I'm a woman

This book seemed to end just as it was getting good. Karl loathed this woman so much, I felt sure the second half of the book would detail what means he used to destroy her as she had him. This was an extremely unsatisfying read that never really came to any conclusion before it told me I'd read it all. How disappointing. I will reassess this book. As I read it the first time, it came to an end, or so it told me in the café where he was thinking about how Amanda had changed his life. After that scene, I was told I had finished the book. In the process of reading another book, somehow the second part of Guilty showed up. What I was expecting happened. He got his revenge. Now that I finally got to read the entire book, it was very entertaining.

I absolutely loved the style of this book and the way it was written. It was great to read a book that jumped years in time so that we could see how the events unfolded over a number of years. In saying that, I was super disappointed in how this book ended. There were points throughout the book where I thought it could have ended, so it was a shame for it to be continued only to end with so many questions. It was great reading the book from multiple points of view. A gripping psychological thriller this book is for sure! Look forward to reading more books by this author.
