About this ebook

Daisy is preparing to spend her first Christmas in the only place she’s ever really felt at home: beautiful Fox Farm. But when tragedy strikes, she will need all her festive cheer, and all the mulled wine, to keep Christmas from being cancelled…

Living at Fox Farm, with its cosy café and charming pottery workshop, is a dream come true for thirty-one-year-old Daisy. The kindly owner, Jean, and the close-knit village feel like the family Daisy has never had. She’s been looking forward to finally having people to buy gifts for and to share cookies with in front of the fire after too much Christmas dinner.

When Jean suddenly falls ill, Daisy is the first to lend a hand in organising the holiday celebrations. She ropes in Alex – Jean’s handsome Scrooge of a nephew – to help her. From the get-go Daisy and Alex cannot agree on anything, butting heads through decorating disasters and tripping over each other at the holiday barn dance. Alex hates Christmas, and Daisy is feeling so festive she might as well be the fairy on top of the ten-foot tree. Can Daisy melt Alex’s icy exterior and prove to him just how magical Christmas can be?

But then Alex discovers Fox Farm is almost bankrupt, and suddenly its whole future is in jeopardy. They need a plan, and quickly, if Jean is to have a place to come back to this Christmas. Will Daisy be able to save the only real home she’s ever had? And might this Christmas be the beginning of something special?

Grab a mug of hot chocolate and a mince pie (or two!) and lose yourself in this utterly charming and romantic holiday tale that proves home is where the heart is. Perfect for fans of RaeAnne Thayne, Sarah Morgan and Heidi Swain, this is the book that will make your Christmas!

With such a delightful title and cover, I had to give Christmas at Fox Farm a go. I love Christmas books, and I really enjoyed this one. Fox Farm was a wonderful setting, it felt like home, and the surrounding countryside of Yorkshire worked really well too. The snow made the book feel really Christmassy. The characters were great. I really liked Jean and Daisy especially. I thought Daisy and Alex’s relationship was well portrayed, under so much stress it’s not surprising they had some difficulties! I found the story slightly more stressful than what I’d choose - all the family drama (down to Sebastian completely) was a bit much for me. However, it worked well in the context of the rest of the plot, and I know most readers like more drama than me! The story starts in the late autumn and goes all the way through to Christmas. It has lots of Christmas atmosphere and, of course, a happy ending. Overall, this was a heartwarming, Christmassy romance. But it was also about family (or most of it) and friends pulling together in difficult times. I was given a free copy of this book, my opinions are my own.

I love this cover! This book takes place from Halloween right up to Christmas. I was expecting more of a Christmasy book. This was more about romance and family and how messy both can be. I really enjoyed it and it kept me turning the pages. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy

Yorkshire, artist, rural, HEA, family, family-dynamics, friction, friendship, small-business, small-town, situational-humor, verbal-humor, stroke-recovery, loneliness, love***** The publisher's blurb is a good place to start with this somewhat peaceful story that takes place from Halloween to Christmas at an artist retreat and local mainstay. The characters are all so well portrayed (especially the poisonous drip of a money mad cousin) and the situations the characters find themselves in ( hospitalized, lack of money issues) are all too believable. No spoilers though. This is the perfect book for a dingy weather weekend in uncertain times. I loved it (even though I usually prefer nonfiction or cozy mysteries)! I requested and received a free ebook copy from Kensington Books via NetGalley. Thank you!
