Not Too Shabby
I’m giving this book 4 stars because for a few reasons.
1. I feel like it has a slow start that never really picks up until the end.
2. The ending is not what I expected, which isn’t necessarily bad, except it was like a surprise twist to hurry up and finish the story??
The writing was good, the author being verbose and good at including details.
The storyline was good and the timeline switch to give the reader a glimpse of the past was an interesting touch to the novel.
Overall, worth the read!
I love it!
This book is funny and full of surprises. Everyone deserves a new beginning, and a fresh starts after some falls. <3
The Spare Bedroom
First time reading this author. This is a story about relationships. Friends and lovers. I felt so sorry for Jess through most of the book. Many readers might see their own lives reflected in her story and hopefully come to the same conclusion she ultimately was forced to. It’s a clean but very well told story. I would definitely read this author again.
