It’s Me or Her

As my eyes slowly start to open, I find myself at the foot of the stairs. I should be confused about how I got here. But I already know. I didn’t trip. It wasn’t an accident. She pushed me.

‘Welcome home, Daisy.’ As we pull up to the house, I remind myself I’m not dreaming. My relationship with Andrew is everything I’ve ever wanted. But when his glamourous mother greets me at the front door, it’s clear she doesn’t want me here.
