Claire Bord acquired global rights in the books via the author directly.

Claire said of the deal,

Debbie writes wonderfully evocative novels, rich in historical detail and always with a moving love story at their heart. The Silk Weaver’s Wife is a beautifully-crafted story set between modern day Verona and 18th-Century Venice which I know is going to have huge appeal with readers.

Debbie responded,

The Silk Weaver’s Wife will be published this summer 2017 with the second book following in spring 2018.
