Publishing Director Claire Bord acquired US eBook rights for ten books in the million copy best-selling Jessica Daniel series plus World English Language rights in two standalone novels from Nicola Barr at Greene and Heaton Ltd.
Claire Bord said of the deal:
Kerry has already established a huge fan base for his Jessica Daniel crime series in the UK and so it is an amazing opportunity for Bookouture to now bring this phenomenally successful series to a US audience. We have an excellent track record of launching crime and thrillers in the States and our plans for Kerry are ambitious.
We are also excited to be publishing Ten Birthdays – a tender coming of age story and, a highly original mystery thriller – The Death and Life of Eleanor Parker next year. Kerry is an incredibly talented writer who understands the ever evolving digital landscape. We are delighted to be working with him.
Kerry Wilkinson commented:
As someone who is interested in the mechanics of e-publishing as well as the actual writing, I’m thrilled to be working with Bookouture to launch my Jessica Daniel series in the US. It’s been fantastic to hear their ideas and their holistic approach to a changing industry is fascinating.
Beyond that, Claire’s input into making my stories better has been invaluable and I’m excited to be publishing my new novels Ten Birthdays and The Death and Life of Eleanor Parker with Bookouture in 2017.
Please join us over on Facebook and Twitter in joining Kerry into the Bookouture family.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
