Keshini Naidoo, Associate Publisher at Bookouture, acquired WEL rights from Laura Longrigg at MBA Literary Agents in a two-book deal. Her first book will be published in July 2017, with book two following in October 2017.

Keshini said:

As soon as I read Sarah’s novel, I was determined to bring her to Bookouture. Her debut, a chilling psychological thriller following Rebecca, whose husband disappeared on the same day as a local teenage girl, gripped me from the very first page. We can’t wait to share Sarah’s exceptional writing with the world.

Sarah said of the deal:

I am very excited to launch my fiction writing career with Bookouture. I have been watching them for a while and am really impressed with some of the huge successes they have had recently. I am especially looking forward to working with an editor like Keshini with all the experience and expertise that she has. I can’t wait to see what happens.

Sarah received a Northern Writers’ Award (Arvon Award) for an early draft of her debut novel in 2015.
