Bookouture signs new contracts with cosy crime authors Castle and Travers
Bookouture has signed contracts for further books in bestselling Sarah Vane Mysteries series by Alice Castle and a new historical cosy crime series by Lydia Travers.

We are delighted to announce that Commissioning editor Brittany Golob has acquired World All Language rights in eBook, paperback and audio, for three further books in author Alice Castle’s bestselling Sarah Vane Mysteries series.
The Sarah Vane Mysteries, set in the fictional Kentish town of Merstairs feature page-turning whodunnits, compelling intrigue and a lovable main character. The six-book series will continue through nine books with this new deal.
Brittany says,
‘I’m so pleased to be able to continue reading about Sarah Vane’s adventures. She’s such a brilliantly authentic amateur sleuth. The cast of characters Alice Castle has created in Merstairs makes the world come to life so well. I am very much looking forward to seeing what kinds of nefarious deeds Sarah Vane manages to uncover in these next three books.’
Alice says,
‘It’s such a delight to be working on the next installments of my Merstairs mysteries with my brilliant editor, Brittany. Sarah’s adventures are endless fun to write. I love the supporting cast of characters who keep popping up to help (or hinder) her on her mission to unmask murderers along the Kent coast. I’m very grateful to all at Bookouture for their faith in the series, and of course to my fabulous agent Justin of KNLA who makes the whole thing work so well.’
Justin says,
‘I am delighted that three new books in Alice’s excellent Sarah Vane Mysteries series are coming to Bookouture. Readers are in for a treat.’
