Bookouture signs new contracts with authors Collins and Allswell

Bookouture are thrilled to announce that we have signed new contracts with women’s fiction authors Tracy Bloom, writing as Maggie Allswell, and Anna E. Collins.

Anna E. Collins

Bookouture are thrilled to announce that commissioning editor Brittany Golob has acquired World All Languages rights, including audio, film and TV for two new women’s fiction novels from author Anna E. Collins.

The books, acquired from Jill Marsal at Marsal Lyon Literary Agency, will publish in early 2027 and early 2028.

Brittany says,

‘I’m so excited to be working with Anna on her fourth and fifth novels with Bookouture. Anna’s writing has such heart, and her characters feel so real to me. These next books will continue to captivate readers with her signature gripping plotting and emotional storytelling. I can’t wait to bring her new titles to life!’

Anna says,

‘I am delighted to team up with Bookouture again to bring two more emotional and suspenseful stories into the hands of readers. I love working with this amazing publishing team and feel so lucky to have them in my corner. Can’t wait to see what the future brings!’

Jill says,

‘I’m thrilled for Anna and excited about the continued partnership with Bookouture to bring readers more of Anna’s captivating stories, interesting characters, and terrific writing!’

Tracy Bloom

Bookouture are also delighted to announce the acquisition of three books in a hilarious new cozy crime series from established women’s fiction author Tracy Bloom, writing as Maggie Allswell. Commissioning Editor Harriet Wade acquired World English language rights, including audio, from Hannah Todd at Janklow & Nesbit, and the first book in the series will be launching in May 2026, with the next two following later in 2026.

Harriet says,

‘It is such a pleasure to have Tracy back at Bookouture, as I have long been a fan of her warm and engaging writing. It’s been wonderful to see how effortlessly she has turned to a new genre, and I knew the minute this manuscript landed in my inbox that I had to publish it. The series focuses on a book club, who have turned their attention to real-life crimes when local librarian Wendy is found dead clutching a copy of Shakespeare. Tracy has created a rich and inviting cast of characters that I know readers will want to return to again and again. Working with Tracy on this has been a joy, and I am so excited for readers to immerse themselves in this unique series.’

Tracy says,

‘I cannot tell you how much I have loved creating my very own killer book club! I really want to be part of this gang, getting up to mischief as they go about solving crimes in their very own unique way. I know that they are in brilliant hands with Bookouture and I cannot wait for them to work their magic and unleash this very special book club on the world.

Hannah says,

‘I’m over the moon that Tracy’s super fun and bookish cosy crime is publishing with Harriet and the Bookouture team. I can’t wait for readers to meet the whole book club gang; there truly is something for everyone amongst them, though I’ll always be a Judy die-hard fan!’
