Bookouture signs new contracts with authors Browne and Hokin
Bookouture are thrilled to announce that they have signed new contracts for three psychological thrillers from Sheryl Browne and two new historical fiction novels from Catherine Hokin.
We are delighted to announce that Associate Publisher Helen Jenner has acquired World All Language rights, including audio, film & TV rights, to three gripping psychological thrillers from Sheryl Browne for 2027 and 2028.
Helen says,
‘I am over the moon to be working with Sheryl on more deliciously twisted psychological thrillers. Sheryl is an expert plotter, weaving tails about marriage and relationships with such skill that the reader is invested from the start and picking their jaw up from the floor at the end. She has delivered three more thrilling ideas which I know her readers will love.’
Sheryl says,
‘I’m so thrilled to be continuing my publishing journey with Bookouture, not least because, having been diagnosed with cancer, I had no idea what the future might hold. My writing inspired me to power through the treatments, but the support of my brilliant editor, Helen, and the whole of the Bookouture team has been phenomenal. They truly do stand right alongside they’re authors and I cannot express how much that means. Thank you to you all.’
We are also excited to announce that Associate Publisher Jess Whitlum-Cooper has agreed a two-book world all rights deal with historical fiction author Catherine Hokin, including audio and film & TV, for two new heartbreaking novels set around the Second World War, taking Catherine’s publishing into 2028.

‘I am absolutely delighted to be signing another contract with Bookouture, if a little gobsmacked that this will bring the total number of novels we have published together to seventeen. That success is testament to a great author/publisher partnership, in which my ideas are valued and nurtured and delivered to the widest possible audience. What more could a writer wish for!’
