Bookouture signs bestselling self-published author Jack Cartwright

Bookouture is thrilled to announce that Publishing Director Ellen Gleeson acquired World All Languages in three books from the bestselling self-published author Jack Cartwright, including audio, film & TV rights.

Jack Cartwright has written and self-published more than fifty novels including The Wild Fens Murder Mysteries, The Deadly Wolds series, and the DCI Cook Murder Mysteries, all of which take place in Lincolnshire, where Jack has also appeared at the Lincoln Book Festival as part of the Crime Fiction Panel. He is an Amazon UK top 100 bestseller and a USA Today bestseller.

The first in the new series will publish with Bookouture in October 2026, and will also be set in Jack’s signature Lincolnshire. When Detective Harriet Rose is unwillingly pulled into an investigation in the home town she was desperate to escape from, she’s the first to realise that victims are kidnapped at sunset and murdered at sunrise: and as the shortest day of the year approaches, time is running out in a deadly countdown. With a series arc exploring secrets in Harriet’s own past, she will be linked to the crimes themselves in dangerous and surprising ways.
