Bookouture is thrilled to announce a three-book deal with bestselling crime author Morgan Greene.

Morgan Greene

Bookouture is excited to announce the acquisition of three books in a new US-set police procedural series from Morgan Greene, bestselling author of Angel Maker.

Commissioning Editor Lizzie Brien acquired World English Language rights, including audio, from Viola Hayden at Curtis Brown, with the first book in the series scheduled to publish in July 2026. Set in America’s Pacific Northwest, this new series follows an uncompromising and single-minded young police detective as she seeks justice for the victims of violent crime, and tries to solve the cold case that has been plaguing her for twelve years: her own attempted murder…

Lizzie says,

‘I have been a huge fan of Morgan’s writing for years, and couldn’t be more thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him to publish this incredible series. From our earliest meetings, I knew that he was going to be a delight to work with, and watching this first novel in the series grow and take shape has been a true joy. I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait for readers to get their hands on it!’

Morgan says,

‘I couldn’t be more excited to work with Lizzie and Bookouture on this project, and I know that they’re the perfect partners to launch this thrilling new series. Having lived in the PNW, I’m completely in love with the setting as a backdrop for crime fiction. From the remote, sweeping valleys and endless forests, to the rain-drenched coastal rainforests, there are so many places to explore, and so many dark secrets to unearth.’

Viola says:

‘I’ve long thought Bookouture and Morgan Greene would make a great partnership, and I’m absolutely delighted that these two powerhouses are coming together! We’re very lucky to have Lizzie at the helm, and I can’t wait for readers to meet Morgan’s newest creation and character: Alexandra Marshall.’
