Sandy writes wonderfully compelling novels, rich in historical detail with unforgettable characters who stay with you long after the final page. We are very proud to be publishing The Runaway Children, an incredibly moving story of World War Two evacuees, which I know will have huge appeal for readers.

I thoroughly enjoyed writing The Brighton girls trilogy and, after receiving such amazing reviews from readers, I am delighted to be publishing another two novels with the wonderful team at Bookouture. The Runaway Children is the story of two sisters from the East End of London who are evacuated to Wales during World War Two. Funny, sad and ultimately uplifting – I do hope you enjoy their journey.

Kate Hordern said:

Sandy has proved across three novels that she has a magical power to make readers laugh and make readers cry. With the adventures of evacuee sisters Nell and Olive in The Runaway Children she will do that all over again.

We do hope you will join us on Facebook and Twitter to celebrate.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
