Bookouture sign three-book deal with cosy crime author Lucy Connelly

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Commissioning Editor Maisie Lawrence has acquired world all languages in three utterly gripping cosy mysteries by Lucy Connelly from literary agent Jill Marsal of Marsal Lyon Literary Agency.

The first novel, publishing in 2024, introduces an American crime writer and her sister who arrive in Ireland after receiving an unexpected inheritance of a cottage and bookshop from their grandfather. Delighted by their new start, when a neighbour drops dead at their welcome party and the local police seem eager to arrest the newcomers, they must solve the case themselves.
