Bookouture sign Rita Herron

We are thrilled to be welcoming romantic-suspense bestseller Rita Herron to the Bookouture family, previously published by Montlake Romance and also published by Harlequin for her other series. Associate Publisher Christina Demosthenous acquired World English Language rights from Jenny Bent at The Bent Agency to three books in the Detective Ellie Reeves series.

The first book in the series will publish in July 2020, introducing the formidable and unforgettable detective Ellie Reeves, who is determined to get to the bottom of a missing girl’s case. Against the evocative backdrop of the Appalachian mountains, Ellie faces plummeting temperatures, a threatening snowstorm, and a shocking secret at the heart of her hometown.
