Associate Publisher Isobel Akenhead acquired US eBook rights from Caroline Hardman at Hardman & Swainson. The first title in the deal The Lost Sister will be published in July 2018.
Isobel Akenhead said of the deal,
I’m thrilled to have the chance to work with Tracy. She is an absolutely brilliant writer, whose unputdownable novels are both gripping and emotionally powerful. We have a rapidly growing readership for many of our authors in the US, including Angela Marsons, Louise Jensen, Robert Bryndza, and Kathryn Croft, all of whom have hit the top of the US Kindle charts.
Tracy Buchanan commented,
The US is a really important market for me, and I’m super keen to build on the momentum I’ve already experienced out there. I love Bookouture’s truly collaborative approach to publishing, its clear vision for its wonderful authors and forward-thinking approach to marketing. So I’m really excited to be working with Isobel and the team there to build a strong long-term brand in the US women’s fiction market. Watch this space!
