Geraldine also writes women’s fiction as Faith Hogan.

The first book in the Detective Iris Locke series sees the Limerick Murder Squad investigating the deaths of a mother and her two children in a house fire, which links back to a case decades ago of a baby stolen from her pram in the garden. It will publish in August 2019, with book two following in December 2019.

Abigail said of the announcement,

Having admired Geraldine’s writing for some time, I’m delighted to welcome her to Bookouture. This new series combines gripping plots, brilliantly flawed characters, and fantastic atmosphere. Crime fans are going to love Detective Iris Locke, and I can’t wait to share these books with readers.

I’ve loved writing about Corbally and I’m really excited to share a pretty special bunch of characters with readers next year.
