Bookouture sign new contracts with bestselling authors Kovach, Christie and McDine

We are delighted to announce a new contract with bestselling crime author, Carla Kovach. Associate Publisher Helen Jenner acquired World All Language rights, including audio and Film & TV, for three books to be published in 2026. The first book, which will publish in April, is a UK-set psychological thriller, and the following books will be books nineteen and twenty in the Gina Harte detective series.

Helen says,

‘I am absolutely overjoyed to be publishing more Carla Kovach titles in 2026. Carla is a long-standing Bookouture author and is much loved for her Gina Harte series. Readers love her pacy, dark and absolutely thrilling plots, as well as her breathtaking psychological thriller twists, and I’m excited to be working on three more titles next year.’

We are also delighted to announce we have acquired a further book in the detective Val Costa series from bestselling author H.K. Christie. Associate Publisher Helen Jenner acquired World All Language rights, including audio, Film and TV, and the book will be published in November 2025.

Finally, we are thrilled to announce that we have signed a new two-book deal with bestselling author A J McDine. Publishing Director Natasha Harding has acquired World All Language, audio, Film and TV rights to two more gripping UK-set psychological thrillers.
