We are thrilled to announce that Associate Publisher Lucy Frederick has acquired World English Language rights in a deal for three books in a new series by Lizzie Page from Thérèse Coen at Susanna Lea Associates. The novels follow the lives of three women in post-war England who decide to rebel against societal pressures and train as air hostesses. The first gripping, emotional, hopeful and heartwarming book in the series will publish in March 2026.

Lucy says,

‘It is such a treat to work with Lizzie. She is brimming with fantastic ideas that bring to life strong, heroic characters and emotive, powerful stories – all with a lovely undercurrent of hope that warms the heart and brings both smiles and tears to her readers’ faces. We are so excited about this new series, introducing three fantastic heroines and the glamorous yet competitive and challenging world of the early airline industry, along with the challenges our brave women will have to overcome. I know Lizzie’s readers will adore these books!’

Lizzie says,

‘I am SO delighted to be bringing out my fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth books (!) with Bookouture. Bookouture has always made me feel at home and the care and attention with which they publish my books is unbeatable. I’m looking forward to working with my brilliant editor, Lucy Frederick, again. Lucy has great vision, an excellent editorial hand and she cares about the writer’s AND the reader’s experience. I love historical fiction, especially the turbulent post-war period and this series is going to be FUN. Three young women are navigating their way in the early years of the airline industry, facing obstacles to overcome everywhere they go. Chocks away!’

Thérèse says,

‘I am hugely excited about Lucy and Lizzie’s continued partnership at Bookouture and Lizzie’s readers are in for such a treat with her new airline series. Come fly with us!’

We are also delighted to announce that Associate Publisher Kelsie Marsden has acquired a World All Languages deal for two new gripping and emotional historical novels from Siobhan Curham. Siobhan’s novels have been sold in eleven languages so far.

Kelsie says,

Working with Siobhan is a real joy – and readers just love her books! She crafts characters you can’t help but adore from the very first page. Her novels are chock full of rich, well-researched detail and she often shines a light on forgotten or previously unheard stories. I’m so excited to continue working with her on two new titles as she brings her boundless creativity and curiosity to more totally unputdownable books.

Siobhan says,

Becoming a Bookouture author has been the biggest adventure of my 25 year writing career. I wrote my first novel for Bookouture in my bedroom during the first covid lockdown in the UK. Now, 9 novels later, I’ve given up my home to write as I travel the world and I’m thrilled to be with such a supportive publisher. I’m also delighted to get to work on two more novels with my incredibly talented editor Kelsie Marsden, who not only helps me raise my writing game with every book but also encourages me to write novels inspired by my travel adventures. I’m so excited to see what the next two books bring.
