Bookouture sign Irish-set emotional women’s fiction series from Daisy O’Shea
We’re delighted to announce that Commissioning Editor Susannah Hamilton has acquired three books in a loosely connected, dual-timeline Irish-set emotional women’s fiction series by Daisy O’Shea. The deal includes world all languages, film and TV rights.
Susannah says,
‘I’m delighted to announce that we’ve signed Daisy O’Shea for these deeply felt Irish-set novels. Daisy is a beautiful writer, who brings her homeland to life in a truly gorgeous and authentic way. Her plots and characters’ journeys are both heart-breaking and wonderfully uplifting and life-affirming, filled with secrets and astounding twists. I can’t wait for readers to discover the first three books we’ll be publishing by Daisy in 2024, starting with The Irish Key in April.’
Daisy says,
‘Being signed by Bookouture to write a heartwarming fiction series set near my home on the fringes of the wild and beautiful Atlantic shores of Ireland, is the culmination of a lifetime’s desire. After achieving many small publishing successes, this is the icing on my cake. I don’t think I could ask to be part of a more dynamic and exciting imprint. The communication, the friendliness, and the editorial assistance provided for my first Bookouture novel – the first of many, I hope – is second to none. I feel privileged to be part of an outstandingly vibrant and dedicated team.’
We would be delighted if you were able to join us on Facebook and Twitter to celebrate the brilliant news.
