Bookouture re-sign bestselling authors Kerry Wilkinson and Carla Kovach
Bookouture are thrilled to announce the acquisition of three standalone psychological thrillers from prolific bestseller Kerry Wilkinson, and three new thriller books from bestselling crime author Carla Kovach.
We are delighted to announce that Publishing Director Ellen Gleeson acquired World All Languages rights, including audio and film & TV for three standalone psychological thrillers from Kerry Wilkinson.
The first book in the new contract, Tag, You’re It, will publish in January 2026 and features a TV gameshow set in an isolated country mansion.
Two-million copy bestseller Kerry Wilkinson has now published over 50 novels across publishers. The third book in the new deal, publishing in October 2026, will be his 50th title with Bookouture.
Kerry says,
‘Collaborating with Bookouture is the longest working relationship of my life and I’m so pleased to keep it going. I feel like they really get me, which helps me strive to keep improving. That said, another 50 might be pushing it.’
Ellen says,

We are also thrilled to announce a new three-book contract with crime author Carla Kovach. Associate Publisher Helen Jenner acquired World All Language rights, including audio, film & TV to two psychological thrillers and one police procedural, which will publish in 2027 and 2028.
Helen says,
‘I am over the moon to have signed a new contract with Carla. She always delivers brilliantly plotted, fast-paced crime thrillers that are a joy to work on. This new contract will add two more psychological thrillers and a further Gina Harte detective series title to her long list of exceptional crime novels.’
Carla says,
‘I’m delighted to be writing another three books for Bookouture and I’m doubly thrilled to be working on them with my fabulous editor, Helen Jenner. I’m looking forward to bringing my readers more psychological thriller and detective books.
