We are thrilled to announce that Associate Publisher Lucy Frederick has acquired World All Language rights in a new four-book deal for four beautiful, heartfelt World War Two historical fiction novels from USA Today bestseller Shari J. Ryan. The first heart-wrenching story in the contract will publish June 2025.

Lucy says,

‘Working with Shari over the last couple of years has been a dream come true. Her stories are beautifully crafted, gut-wrenchingly poignant and always come to the most hopeful, breathless endings. Shari is truly a marvel to work with – unfailingly kind and funny, and extremely in tune with the market and what her readers are looking for. Her stories never fail to make me bawl – I always know I need tissues on hand while editing… but I always know she’ll have put my heart together again by the last line. I can’t wait to bring four more stories from Shari to her voracious readers in 2025 and beyond.

Shari says,

‘I’m beyond ecstatic to be signing on for another four World War Two novels with Bookouture! Lucy has been the most inspiring and delightful editor to work with, and I couldn’t be happier to continue my publishing journey with her on these upcoming books. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to continue collaborating with such a talented and professional team of industry leaders.’

We are also delighted to announce the acquisition of three novels in the start of a new Irish-set women’s fiction series from bestselling author and leading journalist Ann O’Loughlin. Commissioning editor Harriet Wade acquired World All Language rights, including audio and Film & TV from Jenny Brown at Jenny Brown Associates. The first book will publish in October 2025.

Harriet says,

‘I love everything Ann writes – her stories are so gloriously emotional and always make me want to pack up and move to the Irish coast. I am so pleased we are going to have a series from her, as I know her existing readers as well as new ones will be completely captivated by her immersive storytelling. She writes so beautifully about friendship, heartbreak and the strength of female bonds. I am so pleased to have three more from her coming.

Ann says,

‘I am thrilled to continue working with the amazing team at Bookouture, and with my wonderful editor, Harriet Wade. For so long, readers have been asking if there was any chance I would write a series. Well, this is it! I am very excited to be writing a three book series based in a small village by the sea in Ireland. My hope is that readers will enjoy reading it as much as I love writing it.’
