Bookouture re-sign contracts with O’Shea, Tennant, and Kummerow
Bookouture are delighted to announce that new contracts have been signed with authors Daisy O’Shea, Tilly Tennant, and Marion Kummerow.
We’re thrilled to announce that Associate Publisher Kelsie Marsden has acquired two more books in the beautifully emotional, Irish-set Emerald Isles series by Daisy O’Shea. The deal includes World All Languages, audio and film and TV rights.
Kelsie says,
‘I’m so excited to have more books in this series from Daisy! She’s a brilliantly talented writer and readers cannot get enough of her gorgeous, lyrical stories. Her novels are packed with heartbreak, unbelievable twists and family secrets aplenty. Daisy creates relatable characters readers cannot help but fall in love with and root for, expertly weaving past stories steeped in Irish history with a life-affirming journey in the present day. The way she writes about the rugged Irish coast and rolling green hills is stunning and will utterly sweep you away! I’m looking forward to working closely with Daisy on the next two books.‘
Daisy says,
‘I’m surprised and delighted by the amazing response I’ve had from readers on the Emerald Isle series. My heartfelt thanks go to all those readers who have provided such positive feedback. I’m so pleased to have received a further contract from Bookouture to write two more stories in the same genre; the professional team there are a joy to work with.‘
Bookouture are also delighted to announce that they have signed a new three book deal with Tilly Tennant. Associate Publisher Lydia Vassar-Smith acquired World English Language rights from Hannah Todd at Madeleine Milburn.
Lydia says,
‘I am so thrilled to have three new books from Tilly. She is an author who seems to understand exactly what the reader wants from their women’s fiction – they want to laugh, they want to be whisked away, they want a romance they can champion, and they want a heroine they can root for. Tilly’s novels have all of this in spades, not to mention the most glorious, escapist settings. I am delighted to be publishing more of her novels.’
Tilly says,
‘I’m so happy to be working with Lydia and the Bookouture team on another three books. I really have the best team an author could ask for and they’re a huge part of that. I hope readers are going to love being whisked back to the Lake District to catch up with the residents of Thimblebury as much as I will!’
Hannah says,
‘Tilly, Bookouture and Lydia are truly a dream team! I am delighted that we’ll all get more fantastic Tilly Tennant novels, especially in the glorious lake district setting. Fans are in for a treat!’
Finally, we are so excited to announce that Associate Publisher Kelsie Marsden has acquired another World War Two historical novel from Amazon and USA Today bestselling author Marion Kummerow. Kelsie acquired World All Language (excluding German) rights, film/TV and audio directly from the author. The novel, Marion’s eleventh with Bookouture, takes place before the German Wives series, telling the story of how Knut and Bernd met during Operation Seven.
Kelsie says,
‘I’m so excited to be working with Marion on another brilliant book. Readers cannot get enough of her epic, emotional and gripping stories of true bravery and impossible situations. She has such a talent for writing real characters that readers can invest in and care about. Marion is such fantastic writer, and I know readers will love seeing Knut and Bernd again in their own book.’
Marion says,
‘I’m looking forward to publishing another book with the fantastic Bookouture team and my new editor Kelsie Marsden.’
