Bookouture re-sign authors Eeles, Midwood and Nealon
Bookouture are delighted to announce that they have re-signed authors Liz Eeles, Ellie Midwood and Gosia Nealon.

We are thrilled to announce that Publishing Director Ellen Gleeson acquired World All Languages, audio, and film and TV rights, for two women’s fiction novels from author Liz Eeles.
Liz has sold 350,000 copies with Bookouture in both English and German, including the bestselling Heaven’s Cove women’s fiction series and the Cosy Kettle romance series. The new contract will take her publishing with Bookouture up to sixteen titles.
The first book, entitled The Botantist’s Secret, will publish in September 2026 and tells the story of a woman and her grandmother who live on an otherwise uninhabited island off Cornwall, covered in lush forest. When someone new arrives on the island one summer asking questions about the grandmother’s past, dark secrets emerge which change everything.
Ellen said,
‘Liz is such a talent and I love working with her. We’ve worked on many series together across so many different subgenres of women’s fiction and I can’t wait for this exciting new novel. I know the setting will be just stunning and the story will be brimming with mystery and atmosphere.’
Liz said,
‘I’m delighted to be writing another two books for Bookouture. I’m excited to be taking my writing in a slightly different direction, and I know I’m in safe hands with the talented Bookouture team and, in particular, my brilliant, always supportive editor, Ellen.’
We are also delighted to announce a new three-book contract with bestselling author Ellie Midwood. Associate Publisher Lydia Vassar-Smith signed World All Language rights for three books.
Lydia says,
‘I am absolutely delighted to be publishing more books from the brilliant Ellie Midwood. Readers know Ellie for her page-turning, heartbreaking writing that whisks you away to another time and place. The vivid characters she creates leap off the page and the scenarios she places them in have readers returning to her books time and time again. We, at Bookouture, are so proud to publish her.’
Ellie says,
‘I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve signed a new contract with my wonderful publishing family Bookouture! I couldn’t be happier to continue working with such an excellent, talented team and particularly my irreplaceable editor Lydia. I can’t wait to bring new stories to my readers and share exciting plot lines, locations, and characters with all of you.’
Finally, we are thrilled to announce the signing of a two-book deal for dual timeline historical fiction novels from author Gosia Nealon. Commissioning Editor Natalie Edwards acquired World All Language rights for these gorgeous and heart-wrenching books, the first of which will publish on 9 June 2026.
Natalie said,
‘It has been wonderful to bring stories from wartime Poland to life with Gosia, and she has captured how the past can impact the present so well in these next beautiful books. Filled with family secrets, betrayals, and heartache, I know readers are going to be reaching for the tissues while reading. I’m cannot wait to get these gripping dual timeline titles out into the world and continue Gosia’s publishing journey with us at Bookouture.’
Gosia said,
‘I’m delighted to keep working with Natalie and the entire team at Bookouture. Natalie’s input on my books has proven to be brilliant and I’m grateful to be improving my skills under her wings. And since I’ve always wanted to write dual timeline historical fiction novels, this is a dream come true. Poland is where I grew up, so I’m passionate and comfortable telling stories set over there. I truly can’t wait to share my new books with the world!’
