Cerys said,
‘I’m over the moon to have signed a contract for two new books with Emma. I really love working with her, and I love the characters and worlds she creates. She knows just how to tug at the heartstrings and make her readers really feel, and I’m excited that these new books will be filled with her trademark sense of hope, friendship and community. Emma is an immensely talented author and I can’t wait to share more of her stories with her readers!’
Emma said,
‘It’s been over eight years since I signed my first contract with Bookouture and some twenty books later I still have to pinch myself! I had absolutely no doubts back then that they were the right publisher for me, and not only has the intervening period proved me right, but their incredible energy, enthusiasm and commitment to me has never wavered. I’m proud and incredibly excited to have signed a seventh contract for two more books and indebted to my fabulous editor, Cerys, for continuing to make my dreams possible. I cannot wait to share these new stories with readers.’
We are also thrilled to announce that we have signed a contract for four new romance novels from Donna Ashcroft. Commissioning Editor Cerys Hadwin-Owen signed for World All Language rights, including audio, film and TV, with the first book in the contract publishing in time for Christmas 2026.
Cerys said,
‘I’m delighted we have four new books coming from Donna, and am so looking forward to working with her on these. She’s writing her next Christmas novel as we speak, and I’m so looking forward to spending time immersing myself in a world of snowy scenes, hot chocolate, and romance! I know her readers will feel the same. Donna writes romantic fiction so beautifully and we’re all in for a treat!’
Donna said,

Working with Lily is such a pleasure – she takes me away to a different time with evocative moving stories and her loyal army of fans will be so excited to read The Witch’s Sister.’
Lily said,
‘I am thrilled to continue working with Lydia, who has an absolute gift when it comes to making a story shine, and that combined with her incredible support, kindness and belief in her authors makes her an absolute pleasure to work with! I’m so excited for these next books.’
