Bookouture sign new contract with bestselling crime author D.K. Hood
We are thrilled to announce that Bookouture have signed a new contract with bestselling author D.K. Hood for more Kane and Alton books and a psychological thriller.
Bookouture are delighted to announce a new six-book contract with bestselling crime author, D.K. Hood. Associate Publisher Helen Jenner acquired World All Language rights, including audio, film & TV, to five more books in the long-running Kane and Alton series and one psychological thriller, which will publish in 2026.
Hood has sold over 1.6 million copies of her books since signing her first contract with Bookouture in 2017. And recently her titles have been translated into French and German.
Helen says,
‘I am over the moon to be working on more wonderful books with D.K. Hood. Her fast-paced, twisty plot lines keep crime readers coming back for more. As well as a return to Black Rock Falls in her bestselling police procedural series, she will wow readers with a fantastic hooky concept for her second psychological thriller too.’
