We have exciting news of more fabulous books from Bookouture authors that you already know and love.

We are delighted to share that Commissioning Editor Emily Gowers has acquired World English language rights for two books from Sandy Taylor, from Kate Hordern at KHLA. The new books will publish in July 2021 and May 2022.

Emily said,

‘Sandy’s books are a real gift – I want to be best friends with all of her characters, and I can’t think of many things that bring me more joy than settling in to read one of her rich, gorgeous and emotional stories. I am so delighted to be continuing to work with Sandy on these incredible new novels!’

Sandy said,

‘I am delighted to be re-signing with Bookouture and to continue working with the lovely Emily. My journey with Bookouture has been wonderful. They really are a remarkable publisher, encouraging, patient and always there when you need them.’

We are thrilled to share the news that Commissioning Editor Maisie Lawrence has acquired world rights to three more historical books from Australia number one bestseller Pam Howes.

Maisie said,

‘Pam’s novels give me everything I want. Her characters feel so real and with every book I learn something new about the war as she effortlessly brings the 1940s to life. I feel totally bereft every time I finish reading her latest book and I’m just thrilled to keep working with her!’

Pam said,

‘I love working with Maisie and the fab team at Bookouture. I’m thrilled to be writing three more historical books and looking forward to meeting the new characters that take me along on their journeys. Maisie totally gets me when I say “my characters lead the way!”’

We are delighted to share the news that Publishing Director Kathryn Taussig has acquired World rights, plus audio, from Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton agency for three new historical novels from bestselling author Carly Schabowski.

Kathryn says,

‘Carly’s first two novels for Bookouture – The Ringmaster’s Daughter and The Watchmaker of Dachau – are beautifully written and unique glimpses of life in World War Two Europe. Her reader reviews are fantastic and she brings real warmth to the history she writes about. We are very lucky to be her publisher, and so pleased she’ll be writing three more books for us!’

Carly says,

The past couple of years working with the Bookouture team, and specifically my editor Kathryn, has been an absolute delight! I am so excited to continue my journey as a novelist with them, and cannot wait to see what the next few years bring.’
