We are thrilled to share the news that Commissioning Editor Maisie Lawrence has acquired world rights to three more historical books from Australia number one bestseller Pam Howes.
Maisie said,
‘Pam’s novels give me everything I want. Her characters feel so real and with every book I learn something new about the war as she effortlessly brings the 1940s to life. I feel totally bereft every time I finish reading her latest book and I’m just thrilled to keep working with her!’
Pam said,
‘I love working with Maisie and the fab team at Bookouture. I’m thrilled to be writing three more historical books and looking forward to meeting the new characters that take me along on their journeys. Maisie totally gets me when I say “my characters lead the way!”’
We are delighted to share the news that Publishing Director Kathryn Taussig has acquired World rights, plus audio, from Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton agency for three new historical novels from bestselling author Carly Schabowski.
Kathryn says,
‘Carly’s first two novels for Bookouture – The Ringmaster’s Daughter and The Watchmaker of Dachau – are beautifully written and unique glimpses of life in World War Two Europe. Carly says,
‘The past couple of years working with the Bookouture team, and specifically my editor Kathryn, has been an absolute delight! I am so excited to continue my journey as a novelist with them, and cannot wait to see what the next few years bring.’
