Bookouture re-sign contracts with authors Bavin and O’Leary
Bookouture are thrilled to announce that new contracts have been signed with bestselling authors Susanna Bavin and Susanne O’Leary.
We’re thrilled to announce that Commissioning editor Susannah Hamilton has acquired World English language rights, including audio, to two more novels in the Home Front Girls series by Susanna Bavin from Camilla Shestopal and Shesto Literary. The books in the brilliant saga series are set in World War Two, follow the lives, loves, heartbreaks and wartime adventures of three young women in Manchester. They will both publish in 2025.
Susannah says,
‘I’m delighted to be able to sign Susanna for two more books. Her brilliant stories, with characters who leap from the page and historical settings which bring her world to life like no one else, have long been admired far and wide by readers. And it’s with great delight that Bookouture can announce two more wonderfully heart-warming and tear-jerking Home Front Girls books for her fans.’
Susanna says,
‘I’m delighted to have the chance to carry on working with the supportive team at Bookouture. I loved writing the first three Home Front Girls books. Readers have been asking me if the series will continue and it’s wonderful to be able to say yes!’
We are also delighted to announce that Associate Publisher Jennifer Hunt has acquired world rights in three more books from Kindle bestseller Susanne O’Leary, who has sold over 650,000 copies of her books with Bookouture.
Jennifer says,
‘Susanne is a powerhouse in women’s fiction: she writes effortless, gorgeous romances in stunning settings, has so many ideas for new stories and strong female protagonists, and has built the most incredible, loyal readership over the last six years at Bookouture. The Magnolia Manor series jumped straight into the Kindle charts, and I can’t wait to get to work on three further books in this already incredible series with an author I so admire.’
Susanne says,
‘I’m delighted to keep working with my brilliant editor Jennifer Hunt and to continue writing books for Bookouture, a publisher I have been so happy with since my very first contract in 2018. Since then, my writing life has been a true delight and I feel as if I have a strong wall of support behind me. Bookouture has been, and continues to be, a real dream team to work with.’
