Bookouture re-contracts bestselling authors Wendy Clarke and Karen King
Associate Publisher Jennifer Hunt has acquired World All Language rights to three new psychological thrillers from Kindle top 100 author Wendy Clarke.
Jennifer says,
‘Wendy has found even more readers this year than ever before, with exceptional KU reads in a very competitive genre, and I am so excited to see her sales go from strength to strength. When she told me her latest ideas, I was captivated, yet again, by her ability to draw the most dark and delicious twists out of seemingly normal, domestic situations. Readers are going to love these next three books!’
Wendy says,
‘I’ve been working with my editor, Jennifer, since 2018 so when she asked if I’d like to write three more psychological thrillers, it didn’t take me long to say yes. With eight books already published by Bookouture, many becoming bestsellers, I know Jennifer and I make a great team and that my thrillers I couldn’t be in better hands.’
Commissioning Editor Rhianna Louise has acquired World All Language, audiobook, film and TV rights to three psychological thriller novels from bestseller Karen King, which will publish in 2025 and 2026.
Rhianna says,
‘What a way to ring in 2024! I’m so excited to be working with Karen on these brilliant thrillers. She’s such a talented author who knows exactly how to pull readers in with stand-out hooks, gripping writing, relatable characters and gasp-out-loud reveals. I’ve loved discussing her fantastic ideas, and I know these books are going to be deliciously twisty and utterly unputdownable. Karen is a delight to work with and I can’t wait to take her publishing to new heights of success, with readers all over the world glued to their Kindles!’
Karen says,
‘I’m delighted to be contracted by Bookouture for another three twisty thrillers. This makes a total of nine thrillers and three romances with them and I’m looking forward to working on these with my new editor, Rhianna. It’s such a great start to the New Year!’
