Commissioning Editor, Helen Jenner, acquired three books in a world all language rights deal.

Carla Kovach, who has previously self-published thriller and romance titles, said of the announcement,

I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with the Bookouture team on my upcoming crime series. It’s been a pleasure working with Helen on the journey so far. Thank you so much for this epic opportunity.

Helen Jenner said,

I’m so pleased Carla is joining Bookouture. Carla has written a brilliant first book in what I believe will be an exciting new detective series. I can’t wait to see what readers think.

Set on the outskirts of Birmingham, the series follows a female detective and her team. The first book will publish in April 2018, with another following in August and the third in January 2019.
