The acquisitions follow a string of recent thriller successes, including Amazon number one hits from Angela Marsons and Kathryn Croft.
Keshini Naidoo, Senior Commissioning Editor, acquired World English Language eBook rights for two Tom Bale books from Camilla Wray at the Darley Anderson Literary Agency. She commented,
From reading the very first chapter of Tom Bale’s novel, I knew we just had to publish it. See How They Run is one of the most gripping thrillers I have ever read – combining authentic characters with a plot that never lets up. I’m utterly delighted to be welcoming Tom to Bookouture and am already excited at the prospect of launching his novels to a whole new audience!
See How They Run will be published in March 2016, with a second novel to follow later that year. Bale added:
I’m delighted to be joining such a vibrant and innovative publisher. Keshini, Oliver and the team have made me feel so welcome, and I’ve been very impressed by their enthusiasm and attention to detail. I can’t wait to get the first book out to readers.

Robert has written an impressive debut crime thriller. The Girl in the Ice is the first in an incredible series, introducing a compelling and fearless detective in DCI Erika Foster. We are delighted to welcome Robert to our stellar crime thriller list at Bookouture and can’t wait to launch the series in Spring 2016.
Bryndza said of the signing,
I’m thrilled to have signed a three-book deal with Bookouture. Their innovation in digital publishing, track record of producing bestsellers, and focus on building author’s careers means they are the place I want to be. I’m excited to be working with their fantastic team on my new crime fiction series.
We know you’ll join us in welcoming Tom and Robert to the team and join in the welcome over on our Twitter and Facebook profiles.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
