Bookouture celebrates 2 million sales milestone for D.K. Hood with a new thriller announced for 2026

Bookouture has now sold over 2 million copies of D.K. Hood’s bestselling crime books.

Since signing D.K. Hood in 2017 for a three-book contract, Bookouture has gone on to publish 29 books in the bestselling Kane and Alton series, with the thirtieth book in the series coming in June. Alongside Kane and Alton, Bookouture has also published a second detective series featuring FBI agent Beth Katz, and more recently it has published two psychological thrillers. And today, Bookouture announced a third psychological thriller coming in August this year. Associate publisher Helen Jenner acquired World All Language rights, including Film, TV and audio.
