Bookouture acquires new novels from authors Jenkins and Sweeney

We are delighted to announce a new contract with author Victoria Jenkins. Publisher Laura Deacon acquired World All Language rights, including audio and Film and TV, for three psychological thrillers to be published in 2027.

Laura says,

‘I’m so looking forward to working with Victoria on three new psychological thrillers. She really knows how to get to the very heart of her characters and the dark secrets that lie behind closed doors, delivering thrillers which are packed with suspense and twist after twist.’

Victoria says,

‘I am so happy to be signing another contract with Bookouture, and to be working on another three books with the lovely and super talented Laura Deacon. 2027 will mark ten years since I was first signed by Bookouture – the start of a writing career that transformed my life. I hope to bring readers more twisty, gripping psychological thrillers over the next couple of years, and am looking forward to whatever else the future might hold.’

We are also thrilled to announce that Publishing Executive Imogen Allport has acquired World All Language rights (including audio, film and TV) for three novels in a new escapist dual timeline women’s fiction series from Laura Sweeney. The first book in the series is set in Sorrento and will publish in March 2027.

Imogen says,

‘I am so excited to be working with Laura on a brand-new escapist women’s fiction series about family secrets and new beginnings. Laura is such a joy to work with. She knows how to deliver a pacy, gripping and emotional read with relatable protagonists you instantly warm to and a setting you want to escape to. This series will take place across different European settings, starting in the breathtaking hills of Sorrento which Laura brings to life so beautifully. I can’t wait for readers to fall in love with this new dual timeline series.’

Laura says,

‘I am thrilled to be working again with Imogen and the brilliant Bookouture team on a new dual timeline series. I’m really looking forward to taking readers to spectacularly beautiful locations, and introducing really memorable characters and their emotional journeys.’
